the mode gakuen cocoon tower which is located in tokyo’s nishi-shinjuku skyscraper district unifies three different design schools within one architectural structure: the tokyo mode gakuen (a fashion school), hal tokyo (it and digital applications) and shuto iko (medical treatments and wellfare). according to the architect, the unique shape of the building is alluding to a cocoon which is making a unit out of the three user groups and which is supposed to inspire the students during their work.
